The SEAC/ RMSCA Steel Liaison Committee is a coalition of Front Range Fabricators, Detailers, Erectors and Structural Engineers (EOR) dedicated to improving the steel construction industry. We meet monthly to discuss and tackle topics of interest to the design and construction industry relative to steel framed projects. On occasion, we involve other groups such as Architects and General Contractors. As implied by the committee title, we are a sub-committee of SEAC, but we work closely with the RMSCA (The Rocky Mountain Steel Construction Association), a region trade organization affiliated with AISC (The American Institute of Steel Construction), in developing and presenting topics which include, but are not limited to, drawings, specifications, shop drawings, erection, testing and constructability issues. The result of our meetings is a white paper, produced every 12 to 24 months. The culmination of this paper is to make a presentation to SEAC and RMSCA, often in a joint breakfast meeting.
